...and chaos ensued.

We were in the midst of packing. Nora was recovering from a bout of croup. Heidi had a mild cold. We were attempting to do "Christmas-y" things like make presents, bake things and string Christmas lights.

Then it happened.
Heidi's cold progressed to an ear infection. I contracted viral pneumonia. (Did you even know there WAS such a thing??) All hell broke loose. Poor Papi held down the fort for 3 days (and mostly the 4th day as well-- after that I was just "mostly dead" and able to care for babies again). I'll spare you the details.

Suffice to say our home not only looks, but feels as if Mt. Vesuvius erupted. Right here. In P-town. Mt. Vesuvius. Time was frozen in this little home. You can see exactly what our family was in the midst of doing. And it is chaotic.

Oh my... what a perfect description. So are you all feeling better? Sick and holidays... are an awful combination... sick with babies...worse.
